I’m Mehdi Janah, a freelance editor based in Amsterdam, with a focus on (comedic) commercials and branded content.
I’ve edited campaigns for brands including Tikkie, Rabobank, Dr. Oetker, Bavaria, Swapfiets, Bol, Amazon Prime and Philips, working closely with directors, agencies and production companies in both offline and online edits.
Before focusing fully on editing, I also worked as a director. That experience still shapes the way I approach an edit: with a strong sense of story, performance and rhythm, while executing and, when needed, challenging the director’s vision.
I work in both Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer and am available for projects in the Netherlands and internationally.
